Corinne Hodson is a ngunnawal/wiradjuri woman with family links to the Riverina of NSW. She grew up in the Pilbara of WA and moved to Sydney in 1997 where she began working in the communities of Waterloo and Redfern. Corinne moved to the Central Coast 10 years ago and she is an active member of the Darkinjung Aboriginal Community.

Corinne has worked in the Aboriginal Community Controlled sector for most of her life, primarily with youth, domestic and family violence and women’s services, as well as in child protection and across disability services for 19 years before starting work with Barang Regional Alliance in 2017. Her current role is Manager Partnerships and Policy. Corinne has Post Grad qualifications in Indigenous Trauma and Recovery, a Bachelor of Youth Work, and is also qualified in Counselling, Narrative Practice and Project Management, Case Management, Community Services, Leadership and Management and Business Governance.  She also currently teaches part-time within the NSW TAFE system.

Corinne is a current Director of Darkinjung Local Aboriginal Land Council, a current Director with Eleanor Duncan Aboriginal Health Services, and is also a Director of the Multicultural Leadership Initiative. Corinne is also the Chair of Ngiyang Wayama Aboriginal Data Network on the Central Coast and the Central Coast Aboriginal Interagency Network (CCAIN). Corinne is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD)

Corinne is a passionate advocate for social and environmental justice and for the development of Aboriginal leadership, particularly for our young people. She is also a huge fan of Dolly Parton, and of country music in general, and loves playing her guitar and singing.
